Senior Front End/UI Developer

We are seeking a Senior Front End/UI Developer with a keen eye for design and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. This role is for a seasoned expert with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience, particularly with Angular and advanced proficiency in RxJS. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between higher management and the engineering team, leading the design and implementation of sophisticated UI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the front-end development team in designing and developing high-quality, user-centric interfaces.Mentor junior developers, providing guidance in best practices and code excellence.Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.Establish and promote front-end guidelines, best practices, and standards.Take ownership of the product's UI framework and drive it to the next level of effectiveness.Actively participate in strategic decisions about technology, design, and methodology.Critically assess and offer creative solutions for interactive UI elements to enhance user experience and performance on all devices.Drive the development and maintenance of robust, secure, scalable front-end architecture.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience.Expertise in state management patterns and best practices, particularly using RxJS.Strong experience with front-end build pipelines and tools like WebPack, Gulp, or Vite.A history of successful technical leadership and people management in a collaborative environment.Mastery in interfacing with RESTful APIs and a thorough understanding of web services architectures, with experience in Node.js as a significant asset.Proficiency in modern authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, OIDC, and SSO.A strong understanding of CSS preprocessing platforms like LESS and SASS.Demonstrable ability to use Git for version control in a collaborative team setting.A portfolio on GitHub or equivalent that showcases a rich history of front-end development.

Education and Experience:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.A proven track record of technical leadership in front-end development roles.Experience in the Mortgage Lending domain is highly regarded but not essential.
