Javascript Developer

The Role:We are looking for a Developer who can help deliver a significant project based on the Rocket Modern Experience (MX) Platform. This role is ideal for someone with experience in JavaScript and a knowledge of HTML and CSS who is ready to modernize legacy applications using the Rocket suite of products.

Key Responsibilities:Developed, implemented, and supported solutions on the Rocket Modern Experience Platform and Rocket API platform.Utilise Rocket APIs to integrate and enhance existing and new business applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend complex requirements and devise robust technical solutions.Optimise platform performance, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and advanced integration capabilities.Perform comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure application robustness and user satisfaction.Making sure to document development processes, decisions, and best practices comprehensively.

Qualifications:Essential:Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, Java, VB, Python, etc.Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, RESTful APIs).Experience with Apache and Tomcat.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Advantageous:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Demonstrable experience in developing applications on the Rocket Modern Experience Platform and Rocket API platform.Experience with Progress OpenEdge, Linux administration, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
