About the role:

Intermedia is looking for a talented and energetic Java Developer with experience deploying and building microservices to join our team, building applications and tools to support a fast-growing UCaaS company. You will be a member of the Voice team, helping to extend and enhance our award-winning SaaS VoIP product and its OSS and BSS. You will play a crucial role in helping to solve challenging technical problems and developing solutions that will directly impact our business and its customers.

Location: Must be located in Portugal

What you will be doing:

Green Field project to move functionalities from an existing legacy system to a new Microservices architecture:Design, Document, Develop and Maintain the new architectureCoordinate and work with QE regarding testing strategies and CI PipelinesCoordinate and work with DevOps to set up Continuous Deployment and ObservabilityYou will have significant opportunities to contribute to the design and architecture of the system as well as help facilitate technical decisions

What you will bring to the role:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent related work experience3+ years as a Backend Developer with proven experience with Java 8 or greaterCI/CD Pipeline experienceExperience with container-based development (Kubernetes, Docker)Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environmentStrong knowledge of Git version control System (GitLab, Bitbucket, etc)Hands-on experience writing clean and testable code (unit testing)Ability to understand someone else's codeGood analytical skillsOutstanding communication skills (English), proactive, problem solver, team player

Desired Qualifications
