Backend Java Developer(Microservices Migration, Quarkus) - REMOTE - W2

Project Description: We are embarking on an ambitious project to migrate an outdated monolithic system to a cutting-edge, microservice-based architecture. This role will focus on back-end development, using a modern tech stack that includes Java, Oracle, Kafka, Quarkus, and Bamboo.Key Responsibilities:Microservices Development: Lead the development of new services from scratch, utilizing Java, Oracle, Kafka, Quarkus, and other technologies in our stack. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality, efficient, and scalable code.Configuration and Debugging: Oversee the setup and debugging of project configurations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how to optimize development and deployment processes.Technical Skills and Qualifications:Must have solid experience with Quarkus, a modern Kubernetes-native Java framework.Proficiency in Java 8+.Solid experience with Oracle databases and Apache Kafka.Experience with Bamboo or similar continuous integration and deployment tools.Demonstrated expertise in Maven for project management and build automation.Prior involvement in projects transitioning from monolithic to microservices architecture is highly advantageous.Preferred Qualifications:Proven track record as a Java Developer in backend development, particularly in high-scale environments.
