Java Developer

Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Java Developer with solid experience Java, Spring Boot and SQL, and experienced with Payer.

Responsibilities

Responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions.collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Demonstrate sound knowledge of Industry standard processes.participate in code reviews troubleshoot and debug issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processesDeveloping high-quality and detailed designs.Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.Work in a team environment.

Qualifications

6+ of experience in Java.Experience working with Spring boot and SQLExtensive experience in the IT industry.Excellent knowledge of Java / full stackExceptional communication skills.Domain Skills working with PayerJAVA CERTIFICATIONDevelopment in cloud environments.Experienced in application development using AWS or Azure or GCP (Certification desired – AWS/GCP/Azure).Good understanding of DevOps concepts and process and CICD tools such as Jira Integrations, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.Willing to learn new technologies and enjoys working in a dynamic fast paced environment.Solid understanding of Agile methodology, estimation techniques and key ceremonies for effective management/collaboration.Has highly collaborative working style. Can build and lead a team of hard-working engineers.Strong communication skills and participates actively in discussions with business collaborators, architects, and the team members.

Location: Owings Mills, MD or Remote
