About The Team

The Test Foundations team primarily provides tools and solutions to simplify test writing and maintenance, enhance result observation, and establish a feedback loop. While our team's composition naturally lends itself to a stronger emphasis on quality assurance (QA) activities, we recognize the importance of collaborating across the organization to address testing challenges comprehensively. By working horizontally and engaging with developers, testers, and other teams, our goal is to improve testing practices and contribute to the overall quality of our products.

About The Role

As an SDET at Clari, you will work as the core member of the Test Foundations team on the standardization of testing practices across our organization. This role calls for a hands-on, full-stack automation engineer who possesses practical experience of both front-end or back-end testing. We are looking for someone who embodies the principles of SOLID coding and has the proficiency to work with more senior team members on extending and improving existing automation frameworks. Your knowledge in containerization, CI/CD, modern testing frameworks, and AWS and Salesforce will play a pivotal role in our continuous effort to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Kraków, Poland. Candidates must be based in Poland.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and enhancement of our unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks, focusing on readability, maintainability, and scalabilityDrive tasks within projects to improve product testability and foster strong cross-functional collaborationRefactor and improve existing code to achieve optimal performance within our tech stackEffectively communicate feature-level technical concepts in a simplified manner, enhancing team collaboration and problem-solving

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on testing and testabilityDemonstrated experience in designing or refining testing frameworks for frontend or backend projectsProficient in modern testing frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Nightwatch, or SeleniumExperience with containerization and virtualization using DockerFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or similarKnowledge of AWS and Salesforce is highly desirableExceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships across teamsIndependent and driven, with the ability to function in both team and autonomous settings.
