If this is you - we are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join the Cloud Engineering Team at Hazelcast. Hazelcast is an open-source application platform for stateful, data-intensive workloads at scale. We are revamping our cloud platform with exciting new capabilities and we are looking for JavaScript/TypeScript developers to join our team!

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain React/Next.js applications using mainly Typescript. We expect you to have strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills. We write our tests with Jest and ReactTestingLibrary. We're also building an internal shared component library across teams. You can see what we are building at here Participate in agile planning, estimation and developmentCommunicate proactively with development team membersContribute ideas and efforts to improve quality and efficiency of the development processesContinuously improve your technical skills as well as your soft skills. Automate tools if it is necessaryDevelop high quality code that is scalable and secure.

What You Have

A senior frontend engineer – including all aspects connected to itStrong JavaScript and TypeScript skillsExperience with React, Redux, and NextJSEnjoy writing unit tests with JestComfortable with TailwindCSSExperience with data visualization (chart.js)Worked with Docker and CI/CD toolsExcellent communication in written and spoken English.

At Hazelcast you will work on exciting open-source projects that push the boundaries of distributed computing.

Ideally, you would also:

Worked on the user interface of a monitoring/management system or a SaaS productHave conference speaking and blogging experienceHave experience with automated visual regression testingHave Angular knowledge
