The Casper Association is the organization entrusted with the stewardship and ongoing growth of the Casper Network and its ecosystem.

The Role:The Casper Association is looking for engaged, energetic technology professionals to join us as a Global Developer Advocate. In this position, you will assist with the growth and adoption of Casper's leading blockchain technology by engaging dApp and Smart Contract Developers to design and build real world applications using Casper technology. We are recruiting two roles, one for APAC region and one for EMEA.

You’ll need to be:Creative technologist; someone that wants to own the creative process of solution design, and has the perseverance to implement those designsExperienced developer/engineer with a track record of successful solution delivery and real-world blockchain experienceInterested in new tech and proficient in several programming languages.Strong communicator, experienced in presenting technical ideas/concepts.You should get excited about:Working at the cutting-edge of blockchain technologyBecoming an expert in your fieldGrowing active communities around technologies that make a difference.Working with engineers using blockchain technology to make them successful.What you’ll do:Maintain an expert-level technical knowledge of the platform, its features and how to use it, updated constantly to reflect the state of the art.Grow and support vibrant developer communities who are actively developing solutions on the Casper platform.Represent the Casper Association at industry events by speaking and giving demonstrations of the technologyInnovate tools and features on the Casper platform to improve the Developer Experience.Create blog posts, podcasts and articles about the Casper platform, new features, technology news relevant to Casper developersExpand technical documentation; Create articles & tutorials for those new to the platform. Update existing documentation to keep pace with innovation.Represent the organization online: Meetups, forums, Github and Slack communities, social media (Twitter, WeChat, Discord etc).Work with technical writers and engineers to create code examples and proofs of concept to showcase powerful ideas, enabled by Casper technology.Internal advocacy: give feedback to the product and customer success teams, and then help to iterate and prioritize features.RequirementsQualifications:Bachelorʼs Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.Excellent communication skills in English: verbal and written.5+ years working on production-level projects in rapid iteration, high-quality environments like top tier startups and consultancies.At least one production project successfully delivered at a mid-to-senior level engineering or architecture level of responsibility.Comfortable working across the full development stack including front-end web, back-end, and databases.Understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, experience of delivering blockchain projects including dApp and Smart Contract development.A track record of, or strong aptitude and desire for, speaking at technical conferences, preparing technical training documentation and tutorials.A growth mindset with a strong customer focus and a commitment to excel and lead by example.
