Design-Driven Frontend Developer

We're seeking someone who's passionate about design and enjoys working with CSS and JavaScript to join our small, fully remote product team. You might see yourself as a UX Developer, Frontend Developer, Frontend Designer, or simply a Developer or Designer. For us, what matters most is not the title, but your ability to get the job done. Role DescriptionIn this role, we need someone comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and who has a good grasp of visual design principles. Your role will be varied and engaging. You might start off tackling a challenge from our Trello board, collaborating with the team to devise the best strategy. Then, you'll use your design expertise to determine the UI's appearance before diving into the coding. This means getting the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript right, and coordinating with engineers on any backend integration. Your day-to-day tasks could range from tweaking existing interfaces to completely revamping a landing page's design or crafting eye-catching CTAs for email campaigns.

What We're Looking ForAt least 3+ years in a design role.Similarly, 3+ years in a development role.An excellent understanding of information hierarchy, design principles, typography, imagery, and color theory.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision Studio, Axure RP, or similar tools.Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.Someone who's friendly, collaborative, comfortable with both receiving direction and working autonomously, and eager to learn.
