Javascript Developer

Job description Job Title: JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPERLocation: US-Remote

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer who is proficient with NodeJS. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities:Developing new user-facing features using React.jsBuilding reusable components and front-end libraries for future useTranslating designs and wireframes into high quality codeWriting Database Scripts and QueriesOccasionally handling the duties of a full-stack developerOptimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsersMust possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment, working with the project from specification to user acceptance.Must be able to adhere to programming and development schedules, customer requirements, tactical and strategic product goals.Must be self-motivated and extremely reliable.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software release stages and requirementsOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications:B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field5+ years of JavaScript development2+ years as a full-stack developerExperience with different source/revision control methodologies, such as GITScalability / Redundancy / High volume environments5+ years of JavaScript developmentStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object modelKnowledge of Javascript frameworks (React, Node, JS)Knowledge of other modern languages (Python & Go)Experience with databasesExperience with RESTful APIsKnowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web TokenFamiliar with modern front-end build pipelines and toolsExperience with code versioning tools? Such as GitAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsA knack for benchmarking and optimizationExperience with LinuxAzureKnowledge of JenkinsNode Red
