Senior Android Developer

𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹:As a Senior Mobile Application Developer, you will work closely with our team of talented engineers to design and build scalable mobile SDK and mobile applications. The SDK is used widely across multiple mobile applications to communicate with our wireless vital signs monitoring sensor. You will be responsible for optimizing and or rebuilding the existing mobile software (library/application) where nurses and doctors worldwide will directly use the software you develop to interact with the innovative sensor technologies developed by Sibel Health quickly. This role will also be responsible for the design, documenting, development, testing, and maintenance of their work.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 :Design, develop, test, and maintain new and existing mobile applications on the Android platformDesign, develop, test, and maintain a framework that allows interaction.Collaborate with firmware, signal processing, and cloud team to define, design, and ship new featuresDevelop detailed plans and communication protocols between the mobile application/SDK and cloud services such as AWS or AzureDevelop detailed design and communication protocols between the mobile application/SDK and sensorsUnit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliabilityEstablish and practice good mobile development processes and proceduresCreate software development documentation and processes following FDA regulatory guidelinesWork with external data sources and APIsWork on bug fixing and improving application performanceContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyDesigning and developing advanced applications for the Android platform𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 :5+ Years experience in mobile application development3+ Years of experience in Kotlin or SwiftExperience in building Android React NativeExperience working with third-party dependencies and ability to debug issuesProficiency in object-oriented programming languagesUnderstanding of Bluetooth CommunicationUnderstanding of Android and iOS mobile application best practices including performance optimization, application life-cycle, UI layouts and styles, software architecture patterns, and security.Understanding of cross-platform frameworks fundamentalsUnderstanding of DevOps process and CI/CD tools and frameworksCapable of dealing with both native implementation and cross-platform framework implementation.Capable of analyzing and debugging issues from third-party libraries and APIsBug fixing and improving application performance.
