ServiceNow Developer

Job Summaryseeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our client's growing team. This candidate must be able to hit the ground running helping our client design and develop their ServiceNow platform. This candidate must be able to work on Eastern Standard Time. This candidate can expect to work heavily with stakeholders, develop technical documentation, and lead solution design discussions among other tasks.

Responsibilities • ServiceNow Platform Support with a heavy focus on CMDB, Discovery, IRE, etc. • Solution Design and Delivery • Client Training Delivery • Development of high-level and low-level design documents • Technical Documentation - Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code • Process and Standards Definition & Adherence • Communicate design overviews to clients and company executives. • Define Product Technical Delivery Standards and Processes • Assisting with the development of deployment plans and strategies • Handle escalations, resolving issues for junior and mid-level engineers. • Participate in and lead status, implementation, RCA and design meetings with clients • Providing reliable effort estimates for projects, upgrades, and production support • Vendor relationship management • Excellent customer service Qualifications• A strong technical background in ServiceNow application and portal development. ○ Strong understanding of web development including HTML5, Angular, CSS3, JQuery, and JavaScript. • 5+ years’ experience with the design and development of ServiceNow Application and modules; emphasis on application, workflow, and portal development. ○ Must be experienced with San Diego and Tokyo versions of ServiceNow. • Heavy focus on CMDB, Discovery, IRE. • ServiceNow Studio and the Automated Testing Framework. • Experience with modern programming languages like Java, Python, etc. • Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc. • Experience translating requirements into an appropriate software design. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
