Backend Developer

Location: Remote or Dubai

Position Overview: As a Node.js Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the backend services of a cutting-edge gaming platform. Collaborate with a dynamic team of developers and engineers to implement scalable and efficient systems, handling real-time data processing, game API integration, and blockchain-based storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js. Implement real-time data collection and processing mechanisms using WebRTC and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with front-end developers for API design and integration. Work with cloud-based virtual machines for data storage and management. Integrate blockchain technologies for data storage, NFT creation, and wallet management. Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality. Stay updated with emerging trends in Node.js development, cloud gaming, and blockchain technologies.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Node.js developer (minimum 4 years). Strong proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of asynchronous programming. Experience with WebRTC, IPFS, and blockchain technologies is highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud services and virtual machine environments. Knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular, CSS3, JavaScript) for API integration. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Desirable Skills

Experience with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible chains. Familiarity with NFT standards and blockchain wallet management. Prior experience in the gaming industry, especially in cloud gaming or competitive gaming platforms.
