Lead .NET/Azure Developer (Remote)

Cognizant is looking for an Lead .NET developer with experience designing and developing complex software systems and applications. The individual will work with product owners, domain experts, and product managers to design and deliver customer value. The role is expected to lead several software engineers in the delivery of custom cloud native applications. The individual in this role will ensure that standard methodologies are followed and that quality code is delivered. Lastly, Cognizant needs an individual that loves to collaborate with other technologists and enjoys mentoring and coaching.

Location: Plano, TX. Various (Remote)

Responsibilities:

Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasksWrite clean, testable code using .NET programming languagesDevelop technical specifications and architectureTest and debug various .NET applicationsReview and refactor codeDeploy fully functional applicationsDocument development and operational procedures

Qualifications:

Experience as a .NET DeveloperExperience in Azure Cloud native developmentExperience in No SQL (like Cosmos DB)Experience in SQL ServerProficiency in building web-based applicationsIn-depth knowledge of at least one of the C#.NET languageFamiliarity with agile environmentsExperience in Cosmos DBExperience in GithubExperience in Azure Functions, Azure batches

Salary And Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $72K – $161K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
