NodeJS Developer

Job Summary We're looking for a talented Back-end Software Engineer to help us build our internal suite of products and services, and help us make informed decisions about technology and methodologies.

Your Role As a Software Developer, you will work on a wide range of technical challenges, using a variety of client, server, cloud and database tools, mainly including social media services integration (such as Twitter and Discord), workflow orchestration services and all sorts of cool features within the private messaging service. You will be comfortable collaborating on technical concepts with the ability to deliver them yourself, while also helping others to solve technical challenges. You will work closely with the CTO and other senior stakeholders to deliver the future road- map whilst adding your own input to the team's technical direction and taking responsibility for engineering decisions.

Responsibilities include: Hands-on development, working with the Engineering team members to ensure quality and reliability of the platform; Collaborate with Product team members to define, scope and plan future requirements; Identify emerging issues and non-functional requirements, working with other team members to plan and implement solutions.

Requirements 3+ years software engineering experience building back-end applications and REST API services with NodeJS / JavaScript and more advanced tools and frameworks, such as: Express / Koa / NextJs, Mongoose, Grunt/Gulp. etc.. Competent understanding of Git or equivalent source control. You can work with a high degree of autonomy: you know how to manage your time effectively. Experience accessing or writing REST API and microservices. Enough DevOps experience to set up, configure and maintain your own dev/build environment. Possesses good communication skills, both verbal and written. Possessing good logical abilities means, and should be able to understand and resolve logical tasks / programs.Due to the many nationalities, English is the spoken and written language in the company.
