About The RoleWe are seeking a Staff level Mobile Software Engineer to help develop our mobile apps with 3D technology. We are working with OEM and hardware technology partners to provide cutting edge capture experiences on next generation mobile and camera devices.
What You Will DoCollaborate closely with the engineering team and product marketing to define, design, develop, and deliver new exciting features and captivating UX on Matterport’s applicationsContinuously explore, evaluate, and incorporate new technologies into our products and processes to improve development efficiencyDeliver quality software using agile mobile development practicesAnalyze business requirements, provide feedback and development estimatesDevelop, maintain, support, troubleshoot, monitor and optimize existing mobile applicationsResearch and recommend new mobile tools and applicationsWho You Are5+ years experience in iOS development with deep technical knowledge of mobile frameworks and librariesDeep understanding of core software concepts, including networking, storage/file system, security, memory management, multi-threading, and application lifecycle managementExperience with 3D, AR or computer vision technologies would be a plusExperience with optimizing for performance on mobile (CPU/GPU/memory/latency)Experience working with GraphQL and RESTful web APIsBS or MS in Computer Science or similar fieldSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a collaborative work environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,500 to $234,200 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
