Job Title: Java Technical Lead

Requirements and Job Details:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, and/or equivalent work experience.

Experience: - 12+ years of experience in design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use. - Experience developing application code and unit tests in Java, and Spring (Boot, Data, Batch, Security).

AWS Skills: - AWS experience is strongly preferred, with specific experience in EMR, ECS, and EC2. - Experience in DevOps, including setting up AWS CI/CD pipelines.

Web Development: - Strong experience in building SPA – Single Page Applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and CSS3.

Design and Architecture: - Strong object-oriented design skills with the ability to analyze requirements and transform them into scalable software designs using patterns and standard processes. - Experience working as a Manager or Technical Lead.

Technologies: - Proficiency in RESTful web services, Microservices, Messaging Architectures, and RDBMS. - Experience with Couchbase or other NoSQL Databases.

DevOps and Tools: - Experience with TeamCity is a plus; Harness is preferred. - Proficiency with Git, and CI-CD practices.

Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. - Integrity and Trust - Ability to present the unvarnished truth appropriately and helpfully. - Teamwork - Ability to work well in a collaborative setting, supporting the work team by volunteering for and completing assignments. - Technical Expertise - Commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in the current technical/functional area.
