Senior Ruby Developer

Our client works on very challenging and exciting projects and is looking for Senior Ruby Developer.

Main Skills Required:Ruby Proficiency: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing production software using Ruby. Ruby on Rails experience alone is not sufficientRuby Expertise: Solid track record in crafting efficient, testable, and reusable Ruby modules, demonstrating secure coding practices.Microservices Architecture: Proven ability to design and implement scalable microservices architecture using Ruby, coupled with a robust understanding of distributed transactional systems.Microservices Expert: Practical experience in building distributed transactional systems; experience with testing and debugging distributed systems.Security Focus: Ability to write secure code and a strong understanding of secure coding practices.AWS Proficiency: Proficient in leveraging AWS services for the deployment, management, and scaling of Ruby-based applications.RESTful API Design: Proficient in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring security, performance, and adherence to industry best practices.Version Control: Solid grasp of version control systems, particularly Git and GitLab, ensuring organized and collaborative development workflows.Proactive and Solutions-oriented: Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, always seeking optimal solutions to problems.Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless microservices integration.English- at least at B2 level

Nice to have:IT Security Experience: Experience in IT security practices.Regulated Environment Exposure: Ideally, experience in a regulated industry like finance.Database Proficiency: Proficiency working with database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL. Knowledgeable in SQL query language, with the ability to write and optimize queries.Full-stack Skills: Knowledge of JavaScript and React for full-stack development.Business Translation: Can translate technical topics to a business audience.
