Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for an Internship - Website Development. As an Intern, you will be responsible for designing and implementing websites using Static Site Generators like ASTRO/Jekyll and HTML/CSS. You will work with the team to develop new features and improve existing code, and will be involved in all aspects of software development, from coding to testing to deployment.
Responsibilities:
Translate design specifications into responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.Implement modern Website using Static Site Generators (SSG) and TemplateWork with design team to finalize website template based on design and code quality.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Develop reusable and modular components, ensuring scalability and maintainability of the codebase.Ability to create Graphics for website using Canva or other design tools.Check and write content for the website.Implement user interfaces following design specifications and best practices.Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in the mobile applications.Proactively seek assistance and guidance when faced with complex problems.Take ownership of complete lifecycle (build, test and deploy)Participate in Agile Ceremonies
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience with website development using any Static Site Generators (SSG) e.g. Jekyll, Hugo, Gatsby or Astro.Experience with HTML, CSS, and web technologiesGood Written English skills including, grammar, punctuation and spelling.Experience/Knowledge of Canva will be a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailSelf driven, Go-Getter attitude, Willingness to learnAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and collaboration skillsPassion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with the latest web development trendsExperience with Git, Agile, and Scrum is a plus
