SCT Software solves logistics pain points for customers in the SAP ecosystem by delivering innovative software. We integrate with hundreds of carriers, bring visibility to shipment tracking, optimize warehouse packing, and bring shipping capabilities outside of SAP into other customer systems.Our customers include brands such as 3M, Johnson & Johnson, Boeing, Fujifilm, Bosch, and many more.We are embarking on the next phase of our product offering – moving to a cloud-based platform to power our integrations and more easily bring the best of our capabilities to our customers. And, we’re also looking toward the future with an eye toward new products.We are operating on the cutting edge of our ecosystem. Our platform runs on .NET 8 (on the first day of its launch!) using containers and is deployed to Kubernetes via Terraform. We are utilizing the latest integration features in the SAP BTP cloud ecosystem. You have the equivalent of 5+ years development background with C# and the .NET ecosystemYou are proactive, making suggestions and finding a way to chart a path from A to B. You don’t allow yourself to remain blocked on a task, and are resourceful in finding answers. You know when to reach out for help or guidance.You care about radiating information and “working out loud”. You’re comfortable working transparently in a team environment. You value clear and professional communication.You understand that good product delivery and good analysis go hand-in-hand. You don’t mind flexing into non-coding tasks as warranted.Integration work can sometimes feel repetitive. You take pride in your work regardless of how many times you’ve seen a specific problem, and you look to automate any tedium.You want to provide feedback and opportunities for improvement, and are comfortable receiving that feedback as well. About This Role

In this role, you will:

Both independently and collaboratively develop integrations with carriers using RESTful and SOAP-based APIs (depending on carrier environment)Focus on driving carrier work to completion in order to build up our repository of carrier partners in our new ecosystem. This means caring about analysis, asking questions, occasionally working with carriers to resolve issues we come across.Build framework-level code utilized across all carrier implementationsProvide feedback & and suggestions around improving how we work as a teamBuild & scale our product ecosystem

In addition to development, there are growth opportunities for the future as we move beyond our rapid carrier integration expansion.

You’ll have opportunities to dive into SaaS delivery and infrastructure, including Terraform, Kubernetes, the SAP BTP cloud, our CI/CD process, and tooling connected to those platforms.Learn more about implementing reactive systems as we build out our cluster of Akka .NET based systemsLearn about and improve practices around test automation and TDDYou’ll receive feedback from code reviews and will join a team that wants to level each other up.Gain experience in how we use the GitHub ecosystem (GitHub functionality, Actions, etc.)You’ll have a hand in delivering multiple products to market, and involvement in the entire product lifecycle.
