Curriculum Developers play a critical role in achieving this objective by creating innovative eLearning solutions that transform how NetSuite’s customers, partners, employees, and other learners are educated to best understand, configure, and use NetSuite products.
The Principal Curriculum Developer/NSGL Guide Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining guides within NetSuite’s Guided Learning digital adoption platform located within NetSuite to help our customers, partners, and employees realize their cloud adoption faster. The Principal Curriculum Developer/NSGL Guide Developer possesses strong communication and project management skills, is familiar with scrum and agile methodology, and has a knack for design and movement (such as gamification or other guided learning development experiences).
The ideal candidate has a passion for training, excellent communication skills, instructional design expertise, coding experience, game design experience, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, and exhibits strong leadership and project management skills.

Design, develop, and maintain Guided Learning paths for all audiences including prospects, customers, partners, and employeesPartner with the Oracle Guided Learning and NetSuite Guided Learning teams to create professional guides throughout the NSGL process Create training documentation including conceptual framework for eLearning development, audio and simulation scripts for eLearning, student guides, quick reference materials, hands-on exercises, and knowledge checksPartner with Digital Production team on the creation of graphics and simulationsWork with cross-functional teams to develop course specifications and gather course contentDevelop and maintain effective partnerships with Curriculum Product Leads and Content teams to ensure the creation of effective learning solutionsDevelop and nurture relationships with subject matter experts to gather best practices and incorporate expertise into learning objectives and user scenariosUse data to measure effectiveness of course content and ensure it addresses the needs of NetSuite usersTrain and mentor other curriculum developers/NSGL guide developersStay current with trends, research, and best practices in eLearning developmentStrive for continuous growth and improvement by being agile, curious, a fast learner, and passionate about taking on big challenges with the ability to manage ambiguity and deal with uncertainty
Qualifications:
6-10 years’ experience in instructional design and curriculum development Hands on experience with markup languagesExperience with JavaScript, CSS and jQueryFamiliarity with browser testing and debuggingIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)Understanding of layout aestheticsAn ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentExtensive experience with graphic design and video productionAbility to analyze training needs and present effective educational solutionsExperienced with developing course materials, learning objectives, training aids, and step-by-step instructions Knowledge of audience-engagement techniques for different learning stylesAbility to prioritize and balance multiple, on-going projectsExperience in using agile methodology for course development a plusExperience in Jira for project management and dashboarding is a plusKnowledge of standard accounting principles and financial reporting a plusSkilled in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Zoom or other toolsExcellent analytical and multitasking skillsDemonstrated project management skills and track record of partnering with other team members to meet project deliverables and deadlinesCapable of coaching and mentoring peers and team membersPrior experience training users on software such as ERP, CRM, financial, accounting, ecommerce/retail, manufacturing, warehouse management systems recommendedFamiliarity with software like Adobe Suite, Articulate 360 and content management systems

Hiring Range: from $85,900 - $178,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
