Senior Kotlin/Java Developer

Farel is a San Francisco-based startup building the next-generation Operating System for airlines to manage inventory and sales better. We've raised over $4M from prominent Silicon Valley investors, including the world's most successful accelerator Y Combinator (which launched Airbnb, Dropbox, Coinbase, Robinhood, etc.) Previously, our team built a successful OTA that a $20B publicly-traded company acquired. We are looking for a Senior Kotlin/Java Developer, but not just any developer – we want a true master of their craft, someone ready to elevate our project to new heights

🔍 Responsibilities:Develop the backend of services in Kotlin/Java using PostgreSQLAPI design and integration with external systems.Work according to agile methodologies.

🎯 Requirements:Strong knowledge of Java and its core libraries/templates.Experience with the Spring Framework (boot, mvc, data, security, etc.).Experience with Hibernate, Kotlin is an advantageProficiency in working with databases and query optimization.Familiarity with REST and other protocols.Automated testing skills (JUnit, Testcontainers).
