Project Description:Project for US-based hedge fund with 16 offices worldwide including Poland and an AUM of $26.7B. The firm invests in multiple asset classes and strategies, namely long/short equity, systematic, global macro, and venture capital.

Responsibilities:What you'll doAs a Java Developer, you will work on the Reference Data team within the Data Engineering Technology group to enhance the our Data distribution to other consumers in the firm and deliver new business initiatives.Specifically, you will:Work with the team to extend our Reference data distribution systems.Design, develop, debug, and maintain efficient and reliable solutions in JavaDevelop close working relationships and collaborate with other Technology teams to deliver cross-departmental initiativesCollaborate with QA and support teams to deliver the highest quality products to our clientsWilling to learn vendor tools and support them

Mandatory Skills Description:5+ years of solid Java development with Spring Boot and multithreadingAny cloud development experienceExperience with Kafka development and Redis in the cloudExperience using reactive and stream programmingExcellent communication skillsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsCommitment to the highest ethical standards

Nice-to-Have Skills:Web development using node.js. Knowledge of gRPC is a plusAWS experienceAutomation of test cases to run using test containers in the cloudLanguages:English: B2 Upper Intermediate
