Software Developer II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend UX as well as build components of our web applications. As a Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces and enhance the overall user experience to improve engagement, new user adoption and retention.

Your primary focus will be on creating elegant and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for new products that are responsive and accessible across different devices and browsers. You should have a strong understanding of modern frontend technologies and frameworks, such as React, SWR, NextJS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript, and be passionate about creating visually engaging and user-friendly web interfaces.‍Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the frontend of new products which include dashboards and management systems.Develop centralized re-usable systems like component libraries, helper libraries, and more to support cross-product, cross-team initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into elegant and functional designs, quickly.Implement best practices and industry standards for frontend development while considering business needs of speed and output.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.Train/mentor less experienced engineers to uplevel the team’s speed, quality, and overall performance.Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs.Be highly curious and build amazing things that have a significant business impact on our customers and Aditude.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Open to candidates who’ve completed some coding bootcamps as well.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.Minimum 2 years of experience building or using a headless CMS.Proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript.Familiar with Tailwind CSS, NextJS, monorepo concepts.Experience with NextJS.Hyper-creative even when given ambiguous ideasSolid understanding of responsive design principles.Strong knowledge of UI/UX best practices.Strong balancer of output speed and UX perfectionism.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Wants a workplace that grants autonomy in exchange for high expectations.Can take frontend projects from 0 (nothing) to 10 (something) and even 10 to 100 (everything).Experience with advertising, dashboard UX is a plus.Knowledge of backend technologies and API integration is a plus.Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies is a plus.‍Why join Aditude:Fast growing ad technology company100% remote w/ global footprintUnlimited PTOCompetitive base salaryPotential bonusesAditude is an equal opportunity employer.
