Opportunity – Trading Infrastructure Developer – RemoteGreat opportunity to join a cutting-edge decentralized exchange team to build liquidity and risk management infrastructure. The developer will be responsible for working with the ERMs, management team and the technology team to develop and deploy various components on Dexalot Exchange and Dexalot Simple Swap products.

Dexalot & Dexalot Simple SwapDexalot is a completely decentralized central limit order book (CLOB)-based exchange currently live and operating on the Avalanche blockchain. Dexalot was built from scratch (not a fork) by an experienced team, who have built and scaled trading systems in traditional finance prior to Dexalot. Dexalot Simple Swap is a solution to translate the capital efficient execution capabilities of a CLOB for a typical decentralized finance (DeFi) user, who expects a single transaction execution typically offered by automated market makers (AMMs) like Uniswap. Dexalot Simple Swap will allow users to execute their trades with an experience like AMMs, while still utilizing Dexalot’s innovative CLOB technology.Dexalot’s mission is to eliminate the reliance of centralized and custodial exchange solutions that misaligns exchange and user incentives and create a fair, open, and transparent platform for exchanging assets without a middleman.

Skills RequiredBachelor’s degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics2+ years of experience working with trading systems across Orderbook market data handling Trading and hedging systems2+ years of experience working in a production environment with one or more of: High throughput trading systems or other equivalent technology Skilled in NodeJs, Typescript, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS or GCP Relational databases, RedisAbility to take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced environment Identify problems or needs Suggest potential solutions and drive consensus Implement chosen solutions and support after deploymentUnderstanding of fundamentals of blockchains and cryptocurrenciesExcellent communication skills (written & verbal)Ability to work with traders, technologists, and executivesWillingness to learn and leave comfort zoneHighly organized and efficient with time
