Java Developer (Spanish)

Position overview:

You will collaborate with a Financial Partner in a cross-functional team, including Business PO, UX, Design, and Frontend Developers, to ensure the efficient implementation of improvements. You will work in Agile Methodologies contributing to the development of robust and scalable backend solutions.

What will you do?

Utilize your expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture to deliver high-quality software.Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.Perform Unit Testing with a focus on BDD, TDD, and ATDD methodologies.Demonstrate proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.Employ Docker for containerization and Bash for scripting.Monitor and enhance system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize code.

What are the skills Taleo is looking for?

Proven experience in Backend Development and a strong knowledge of architecture principles, conventions, and concepts.Familiarity with the Spring Boot Framework and Java 8+.Experience with Microservices Architecture and Unit Testing (Mockito).Knowledge of GWT is considered a plus.Understanding of the banking sector (desirable but not mandatory).Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Experience with RESTful APIs and both SQL and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with Docker and Bash scripting, and development processes like BDD, TDD, ATD.Exposure to Microservices Architectures and Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana.Cloud services experience, particularly with AWS (e.g. EC2, S3).Fluency in Spanish is required.Standard English.
