Our Client Seeking a Consultant for six months to Develop a Data Dashboard for the National Profile of Local Health Departments Study

The Profile Study Dashboard will serve as a public reporting tool that presents Profile Study findings of interest to state and national public health partners. Client’s goals in revamping the dashboard include:1) Ensure maintenance and updates can be completed by Client staff to decrease the amount of time between survey fielding and data reporting;2) Better target dashboard functions and design for primary audience(s) to increase its utilization;3) Integrate the dashboard into the Client’s website platform to improve its accessibility;4) Present longitudinal trends related to Local Health Department workforce, finance, programs/services, and other key topics; and,5) Support filtering of weighted analyses by key Local Health Department characteristics (e.g., population size served, type of governance, degree of urbanization).Our client is seeking a consultant(s) to develop the dashboard. The applicant should have the following skills and expertise:1) Recent experience developing dashboards using large survey datasets that require statistical weighting;2) Experience developing dashboards hosted on organizational servers;3) Experience with a variety of dashboard styles, including flat analytics dashboards; and,4) Experience using R Shiny for dashboard development
