AWS Data Lake Developer

As an AWS Data Lake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data lake solutions on AWS cloud platform, using various AWS services and tools.You will also ensure the data quality, security, and performance of the data lake solutions.You will be working alongside talented, friendly and engaged individuals who will help you learn, get up to speed and ultimately will work together to produce something great!

Duties and responsibilities:

⦁ Design, develop, and deploy data lake solutions on AWS cloud platform and Snowflake⦁ Use Python and other programming languages to write scripts, functions, and applications for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.⦁ Use AWS Kinesis, Kenisis Firehose and AWS Lambda to build real-time and event-driven data pipelines and workflows.⦁ Use Apache Airflow to orchestrate and schedule data pipelines and tasks, and optimize the performance and scalability of the data lake solutions.⦁ Work with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand the data requirements, design the data architecture, and implement the data pipelines and processes.⦁ Ensure the data quality, security, and compliance of the data lake solutions, following the best practices and standards.⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve any data issues and provide technical support and guidance to the data users and consumers.

Qualifications and skills:

⦁ 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data lake development, or similar role,⦁ Proficient in Python for data processing and analysis.⦁ Experience with AWS services such as EMR, Glue, Athena and AWS tools such as CLI, SDK, S3, etc.⦁ Experience with AWS Kinesis and AWS Lambda for real-time and event-driven data processing.⦁ Experience with Apache Airflow for data pipeline orchestration and scheduling.⦁ Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance concepts and techniques.⦁ Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, and data query and analysis tools.⦁ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
