UI Developer

Wingify is looking for a talented UI Developer with a passion for crafting intuitive and interactive user interfaces. We are a dynamic team that thrives on innovation and creativity, and we are looking for a skilled professional to help us take our web application's UI to the next level.

Key Qualifications:Minimum 1-2 years of UI development experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design and coding skills.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.

Core Responsibilities:As a UI Developer at Wingify, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional user experience. Your responsibilities will include:Designing, developing, and maintaining the UI of our web application to ensure a seamless and interactive user experience.Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, front-end developers, and the QA team to strategize and prioritize UI-related tasks, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.Working with designers to refine and enhance the UI/UX, while also contributing to core feature development.Conducting timely peer code reviews and ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.Evaluating the feasibility of design proposals through discussions and feasibility checks.

Required Technical Skills:To excel in this role, you should have the following technical skills:Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and jQuery/JavaScript.Experience in writing custom CSS, not solely relying on frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.Strong ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect browser renderings.Knowledge of form validations.Familiarity with Git and the command line.Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations.

Good to Have:While not required, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial:Prior experience in implementing HTML and CSS into single-page applications.Basic knowledge of Web Accessibility.Knowledge of W3C HTML validation.Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass.Familiarity with tools such as Autoprefixer, Browserslist, and Atomizer.Previous experience in Design System development.
