Kotlin Developer

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Kotlin Developer. The Kotlin Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Back-End Web Development software using Kotlin programming language for various applications, frameworks, and libraries. The Kotlin Developer will also be responsible for Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Software Development.

Relevant experience developing Android appsKnowledge of the Java and Kotlin programming languages is required to develop clear, legible, and maintainable codeKnowledge of the Android SDK and Android StudioPractical knowledge of mobile app architecture, flow, design, implementation, and releaseFamiliarity with agile development techniques and CI/CD pipelinesExtensive experience developing end-to-end Android mobile apps, including design, development, and deployment to app marketplacesThorough awareness of the app lifecycle, architectural concepts, and design elementsA problem-solving attitude, analytic talents, and excellent technical and communication skillsStrong debugging abilities and understanding of quality assurance techniquesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and XML is required to link the app to backend servicesUnderstanding the most recent mobile app trends, designs, and upcoming technologiesUnderstanding of state management to facilitate user engagementUnderstanding of Agile and DevOps techniquesKnowledge of version control systems and tools, such as GitHubExcellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication abilitiesExcellent time management abilities and the ability to work autonomouslyA critical thinker, analyst, and interested professional who wants to create outstanding Android products

QualificationsStrong knowledge in Computer ScienceExperience in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and ProgrammingExpertise in Kotlin programming language and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principlesExperience in using Kotlin in applications, frameworks, and librariesFamiliarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL ServerStrong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a teamBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fieldExperience in Agile development methodology and mobile app development is a plus2-3 Years Kotlin experience
