Overview:This is a Senior development position, responsible for developing the APIs that power our applications, and occasionally working on a few front-end pieces powered by PHP and Javascript.

Successful Candidates will be able to:

Develop new features and enhance our existing software, tools, and experiences to help delight our customers, taking responsibility for code quality, maintainability, reliability, performance, and scalability.Design and build new APIs, web services, and microservices while supporting the worldwide operations of our cloud-based intelligent security solutions.Collaboratively experiment, prototype, and document your work while helping to build new applications, services, and tools.Continuously improve and maintain code, including optimizing services for performance and scale.Stay up to date with technology and industry trends to continually drive innovation in our architecture, technology choices, engineering practices, and products.Drive impactful initiatives for the globally distributed infrastructureAttend SCRUM meetings and Keep track of GitHub tickets, commenting on them, changing the status of the tickets as you make progressCollaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, and business groups, to drive end-to-end solutionsLead the team when necessary, mentoring and coaching more junior developersCommunicate feedback and seek feedback on the architecture/design of solutionsSuccessful Candidates will have prior experience with:PHP (5+ years)Symfony framework (2+ years)ComposerGit/ GitHubElasticsearch/ MongoDB/ MySQLDockerConsuming APIsAdditionally preferred:AWSTerraformPythonJavaScript/TypeScript
