ResponsibilitiesWrite clean, well-designed codeDeveloping functionality with accompanying unit testsTesting other developers’ functionalityIntegrating with APIs and collaborating to solve issuesHelp identify problems and collaborate with senior developers to generate solutions in a timely mannerConducting Analysis of website and application requirementsWrite back-end code and building efficient PHP modulesTroubleshooting application and code issuesRevising and modifying application features to enhance performance

QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or related field5+ years of experienced with PHP 5.4+5+ years of experience with Symfony or similar fundamental frameworks4 + years experience with MongoDBExpert at Git CLI - Can solve complex merge conflicts, very comfortable with, branch structures, stash, merge, revert, cherry picking, etc... all via cli.PHP Unit: Understands how to write meaningful, efficient and maintainable unit tests.Experience writing and consuming APIsFamiliar with managing Linux servers, Nginx, permissions, Crons, bash, etc...Some experience with LinuxGood OOP experienceGood experience with Agile ScrumExperience in a TDD environment (may consider BDD)Good Communication and critical thinking skillsGood problem-solving skillsGood knowledge of database usageEye for details and the big pictureSense of ownership and leadership skillsThe ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar fieldKnowledge of JS frameworks, preferably ReactJSA background in data entry softwareKnowledge of Mongo ShardingFamiliarity with DockerExperience with Composer
