Description
Tyler Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced SQL Server database developer to assist migrating clients' data to our software. The primary responsibilities of this role are writing SQL scripts, analyzing data, and troubleshooting data anomalies and script issues. You will be on a team with other Conversion Developers in our Professional Services department, interacting with analysts and consultants, and occasionally speaking with clients. We think this role is best for someone very comfortable writing SQL that transforms data, understands ETL challenges, learns quickly, codes efficiently, and collaborates easily. They fear losing data, deftly traverse schemas and relationships, and obsess over quality.
This is a fully remote position in a department that is also fully remote.

SQL development - write scripts to query and modify data in test and production environments. SQL Server administration - create, maintain, and drop development databases. Data analysis - Determine where data needs to go, what's missing, or how data needs to change. Learn and use our standard tools and processes. Help us evolve them. Learn our software, from a database and end user perspective. Log time - Clients pay for our services so we track time on projects. Collaborate - Proactively communicate with your manager, team members, and maybe even a client. Be available - Have a predictable work schedule. Be willing to join ad hoc meetings or video calls.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field or equivalent experience is desired.
