The candidate needs to develop, manage-his assignments, support existing and new functionality for our in-house suite of applications written in Cobol. Responsibilities will include hands-on analysis, design, development, creation and execution of test plans according to State Street’s published Development Process Framework. Additionally, the candidate will engage in production support.

Qualifications:The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Sr.Cobol Developer.Experience with Fujitsu NetCobol or MicroFocus Cobol desired.Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases required (Sybase a plus).MQ, Unix and Unix shell scripting are a plus.Solid experience in full software development cycle, including application architecture, technical specs, analysis, software development, testing large-scale software applications, assisting SQA teams with UAT testing, production support.Experience in the financial industry with knowledge of trade flow and corporate actions is a plus.
