NSF ITSIS Junior Back End Developer

Razor Talent is looking for a Junior level Back-end Java Developer. 100% Remote work opportunity with *potential option for in-person.*Any candidate with an Active Public Trust highly recommended to apply.Razor will facilitate 6-8 week Public Trust Clearance process

Role & Responsibilities:Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.Follows approved Agile life cycle methodologies, creates design documents & performs program coding.Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides ongoing reports.Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources.Identifies, analyzes, and interprets data sets and document recommendations.

Required Skills:1. 1+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree is required. Commensurate experience for education.Strong knowledge of Core Java. Experience with Spring or other MVC framework3. Experience with web services (RESTful, SOAP)Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and experience with common JavaScript frameworks (Ember, Angular)Experience with writing basic SQL queries in Sybase, OracleExperience with databases including Stored Procedures, DML and DDL tasksExperience with source control management (SVN, Git)Experience with build automation (Jenkins, Hudson)

Preferred Skills:Experience with Apache Tomcat or any other application servers is desirableExperience working with in an Agile development environmentExperience with JIRAExcellent communication and teamwork skills
