Sr. .NET Developer/Production Support - NYC - Remote

Position: Sr. .NET Developer/Production SupportLocation: NYC, NYDuration: Long-Term Contract

Note: Looking for Independent Visa HolderSchedule & Work Location:· Mon - Fri, 9 to 5, with availability 24x7 to support escalations· Can be remote; EST preferred· Required to come on-site every 6 week on own expanses Role Responsibilities: · Evaluate user requirements, requirement gathering, analysis, estimation, architecture design, development, and implementation.· Collaborate with architecture and development leads on the design of projects.· Assist with product design and documenting design.· Drive continual improvement to system architecture and design.· Prepare system architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps, that the program must follow and to describe logical operations involved.· Write documentation to describe program interfaces, classes, functions, logic/algorithms, and points of integration/extensibility.· Analyze business requirements for database schema design and suggest changes to database, as necessary.· Design data objects and write the Data Manipulation Language (“DML”) and Data Definition Language (“DDL”) queries.· Support with planning, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.· Prepare complete development and implementation plan.· Understand, advise, coordinate, and help to develop the full stack for Web and desktop applications.· Perform detailed development and support for .NET based application using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, Web Service, and Microsoft (“MS”) SQL Server using Microsoft Visual Studio in the latest versions of .NET including 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 4.5.· Perform detailed development and support using other technologies such as Angular JS, Node.JS, JQuery, Java and PL/SQL.· Produce excellent quality code in an agile environment.· Advocate and deliver on programming best practices and standards like code reviews, unit, and functional testing.· Collaborate with development leads to manage feature and bug queues.· Debug software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.· Develop, maintain, and execute software test plans including use cases, scenarios, and test cases.· Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.· Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.· Provide post-production support, status reporting and handling of escalations.· Knowledge of Web Server architecture and application processing in context of developing and deploying web pages to Internet Information Services (“IIS”) Server.· Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.· Analyze session in tealeaf, to get the root cause for any critical issue.· Acting key role on customer relationship building.· Extensively involved in Production Support (24x7) and problem fixes.· Effectively manage changes and attend change meetings· Collaborate with network teams and manage firewall rules for applications.
