Drupal Developer

About the PositionPromet is looking for a full-time Drupal Developer to work with its established team of Drupal professionals. The position is remote and available to Philippine applicants. The Drupal Developer is responsible for the site building and custom PHP development of clients’ websites based on project requirements and project scope. Must have great organizational and interpersonal skills, and be experienced and driven toward code excellence.

Responsibilities:Develop and build with best practice and code excellence in mindWork in teams to help build and develop websites with Drupal and PHPParticipate in daily and weekly status meetingsReporting time and work details on a daily basisRecord detailed descriptions of work performed and documentation of progressCommunicate regularly with project managerRewrite Drupal 7 modules for Drupal 9

Qualifications:

Technical:Strong understanding of best practices of PHP developmentExperience in Drupal development Some Azure or cloud devops or sysadmin knowledgeHTML, CSS expertiseAbility to develop in PHP/MySQLKnowledge and experience with API developmentProven Custom module developmentUnderstands Integration concepts (RESTful services, API development, etc.)Knowledge of PHP and MySQL development techniques: using GIT for code checkouts, version control, and deployment techniques.Understands the basics of web accessibility standardsKnows how to apply accessibility web standards into their job roleHaving experience or certification(s) in web accessibility is a big plus Bonus Knowledge:Understanding of Apache/nginx configurationHigh availability configuration for CMS driven websitesMySQL skillsMobile Web App Development (Apple or Android)Troubleshooting issues that occur at the server level, related to database throughput, preprocessor configuration, memory resident storage, and more.
