Position: API Developer

Location: Remote – must reside in WI for full term of the project

Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of extension

Technologies: Python, AWS, SQL, API, Terraform, Gitlab, CI/CD, Apigee, Workday, Atlassian, JIRA

Project: The University of Wisconsin Madison is looking for a developer to assist with analysis and building of APIs in support of external applications to their Workday environment.

Responsibilities:

Will work independently in a small team setting to perform analysis, coding, and testing. Meet regularly with Development Team and Leads. Works closely with Functional Business Analysts to troubleshoot and discuss problem resolution. Code and Test APIs.

Required Skills:

3 – 5 years of Python 3 years AWS experience SQL/Database Minimum 2 years of API building experience

Preferred Skills:

Experience with frameworks Terraform Gitlab CI/CD Apigee API management
