Automation Developer

Priority Projects Update Ericsson Cloud Core Resource Controller(CCRC) node’s lifecycle management CI/CD Pipeline. Extending existing lifecycle management CI/CDpipeline to support Ericsson Packet Core Controller (PCC), Packet Core Gateway(PCG), Cloud Core Policy Controller (CCPC) nodes. Update & extend existing automationframeworks: Centralized Configuration Management. Configuration Audit Automation. Configuration Generation & Development. Heath check automation. Primary Responsibilities Developing, extending, modifying, and providingsupport and maintenance for in-house software, automation frameworks, CI/CDpipelines, and APIs. Collaborating with solution architects, networkengineers and software developers to develop automation software. Support Core Network Applications domainthrough the development of tooling for automation of repetitive tasks. Integrate automation frameworks with networkingtools, cloud-native network functions and network infrastructure. Assist in creating and updating softwaresolution documentation. Knowledge And Experience A relevant bachelor's degree or Tertiaryqualifications in IT/Telecommunications/Computer Science. A minimum of 3, preferably 5 years ofexperience in software development. Proficiency in a range of programming languagesand frameworks, including Ansible, Python, JavaScript, and Robot Framework. Proficiency in building and operating Dockercontainer-based services. Proficiency in developing CI/CD pipelines e.g., developing pipelines in GitLab. Experience in working with Linux, OpenStack,and Kubernetes. Experience with source control repositories(GitLab), Ansible Automation Platform and CI/CD tools. Experience with netconf network interface forconfiguration management. Effective technical analysis andtroubleshooting capabilities. Experience of working in an Agile deliverymodel is desirable. Experience of working with NetScout, EricssonExpert Analytics, Splunk, and SIGOS is desirable. Experience of software development in MobileCore Networks is desirable. Experience of working in the Network Automationdomain is desirable.
