Job DescriptionAppExert Labs is looking for a Software Developer in Test (QA Engineer) to join our growing team in India. Selected employee will be expected to work on Telecommute and will be responsible for the Full stack QA service for one of our fast-growing Clients based out of Montreal, Canada. Your primary focus is to ensure the quality of the products/platforms at the highest levels. You will work in a team of Full stack Developers, Product Managers, UX Developers, and other stakeholders and will contribute to the development, execution, and maintenance of test procedures that thoroughly test our line of products.

ResponsibilitiesActively participate in the scrum process; set and meet sprint deliverableResponsible for testing ALL software SDS produces, sometimes manually where needed.Build automation testing frameworks for our software.Performance testing.You will ensure that the test frameworks are written such that they are robust and maintainable.You will apply coding best practices to the automation test packs.You will be innovative and have the opportunity to use your innovative skill set to make testing better by implementing well thought-out frameworks.Liaise with Dev teams as required for assistance.Work with the developers in the team to resolve issues as efficiently as possible.Stay up to date with new testing tools and testing strategies

Requirements4 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, and QA automation.Solid experience in creating and executing automation and manual test cases independently.Experience with Significant automation testing experience, BDD/ATDD/Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium or Cypress, API, Functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, Defect management, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, SQL, JavaScript.Have an understanding of both ReactJS, .Net, especially C#, and also, any experience with MongoDB will be preferred.Solid understanding of website QA processes, methodologies, and best practices. Able to interpret results, identify trends and communicate findings appropriately.Ability to perform testing against web-based applications both from the front-end UI as well as back-end databases and APIs.Experience with leading a team of Test Engineers/QAs or the ability to mentor more Junior resourcesStrong experience on Relational Databases.Experience with Git or other source control systems.Deep understanding of the web technology stack (HTTP, HTML, Chrome Dev Console, REST APIs) SkillsAny Object-Oriented Programming Language, GIT, Selenium, RestAssured or similar libraries, JIRA, Agile, WebAPIs, Pair Programming, Chrome Dev Tools, Postman.
