Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Data Stage Developer with expertise in Teradata for a remote position with our client, BCBS (Blue Cross Blue Shield). As a Data Stage Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using IBM DataStage and working with Teradata databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration, transformation, and loading, along with hands-on experience with Teradata technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Teradata databases.

2. Teradata Database Management: Work with Teradata databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.

3. Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from different sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

4. Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes and Teradata queries to enhance overall system performance.

5. Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the integrity of data throughout the ETL lifecycle.

6. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Stage Developer with expertise in Teradata.- Strong proficiency in IBM DataStage for ETL development.- Hands-on experience working with Teradata databases.- Solid understanding of data integration, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts.- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
