We are seeking a passionate Ruby Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using the Ruby language and the Ruby on Rails framework.

Experience: 2 - 5 years

Primary skills: Ruby, Ruby On Rails, PostgreSQL/MySQL

Secondary skills: Docker, Sidekiq, AWS, MongoDB/DocumentD

Location: Remote

Roles and Responsibilities:Developing a wide range of APIs using Ruby on Rails, from simple to complex, tailored for custom business functionalities.Involvement in innovative projects including edge computing, mobile/web/client applications, cloud technology, machine learning, AI, and analytics.Opportunity to work with a diverse, global customer base spanning the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia.

Must-Have Skills:Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and developing complex APIs.Solid experience with backend technologies and a good understanding of Docker, AWS, and Sidekiq.Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus but not the primary focus.Firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design principles.Commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.In-depth knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL/MySQL.Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB/DocumentDB.Comfortable working in Linux OS environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).Experience with deploying and managing applications in an AWS environment.Ability to work on high-traffic, multi-tier web/SaaS applications.Proficiency in implementing robust security measures in web applications.Dedication to delivering high-quality results on time.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously within a small team.Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines effectively.Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language.
