Smart On FHIR DeveloperFull TimeRemote(Work anywhere in USA) Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Smart on FHIR Developer to join our healthcare technology team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT and a deep understanding of the SMART on FHIR framework.The role involves designing, developing, and implementing healthcare applications that leverage the interoperability and data exchange capabilities of SMART on FHIR. Must have skills:Experience utilizing Smart on FHIR standards to build healthcare applications.Strong experience in the Healthcare space- you know how HL7 works!Experience with CDS HOOKS a Plus. Experience with oAuth, oAuth2.0Experience in developing healthcare applications and working with health information exchange standards like HL7 and FHIR.FHIR standards and implementation experience is required.Knowledge of HL7 messaging and interoperability frameworks. Extensive familiarity with the FHIR specification, the FHIR infrastructure, and the FHIR community as a whole. HL7 FHIR Competence: Exhibit an in-depth understanding of HL7 FHIR standards and their application to the exchange of healthcare data. Key Responsibilities:Application Development:Design, develop, and implement healthcare applications using the SMART on FHIR framework.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, to understand application requirements and ensure successful integration with EHR systems.Architect, design, and implement SMART on FHIR applications that cater to the healthcare industry's requirements.Act as the bridge between our organization's technical and non-technical arms. Effectively convey complex architectural concepts and strategies to a diverse audience, ensuring buy-in and alignment at all organizational levels.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the web application with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources in a seamless manner.Capability to conduct research and provide answers to customer queries regarding data and FHIR. Interoperability:Work on enhancing interoperability between healthcare applications and various EHR systems using SMART on FHIR standards.Ensure seamless data exchange and communication between different healthcare IT systems e.g., Epic. Integration:Integrate SMART on FHIR applications with existing healthcare infrastructure, including EHRs, healthcare data repositories, and other relevant systems.Implement secure and efficient data exchange mechanisms. Preferred Skills:Experience utilizing Smart on FHIR standards to build healthcare applications.Strong experience in the Healthcare space- you know how HL7 works!Experience with CDS HOOKS a Plus. Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in healthcare application development with a focus on SMART on FHIR.Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 FHIR.Experience working with EHR systems and healthcare data exchange protocols.Knowledge of healthcare security and privacy requirements.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
