We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Developer, to work as part of the Listella Engineering Team developing end-to-end product functionality using Go, gRPC, Redis and more. In this role, you’ll be developing highly complex applications with a team goal of streamlining business operations and improving overall user experience. You will join a small, expert team building server-side systems that run the

Listella marketplace.The ideal candidate will have a passion for building world-class software and a track record of success, creating highly scalable software systems. You will need strong software engineering skills, excellent interpersonal communication, with experience accepting and giving meaningful feedback on technical designs and pull requests.

What You’ll Do:Participate in the full application development lifecycle, with a focus on writing clean, efficient and reusable codeOwn development of features, manage implementation of code and enhance product usability and consistency within ListellaBuild new features using: Go, Redis, Postgres, Docker, gRPC, and GCPContribute to our API and maintain API-based connections with other related systemsIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecksCollaborate closely with all members within ListellaUnderstand our roadmap, requests, and creatively implement those features into ListellaOptimize functionality for maximum speed, memory efficiency and scalability

What You’ll Bring6+ years of development and a thorough grasp of any of the following technologies: Go, Java, C#, C/C++, Rust etc.Strong DSA, Software Design and Architecture experiencePractical knowledge of SQL databasesPrior experience working in an agile development environmentCuriosity that keeps your skillset updated on current frameworks and trends in frontend developmentA creative mind, keen ability, and the initiative to think beyondExperience building integrations using web services and maintaining an APIExperience developing, documenting, and versioning public REST APIs
