As Odeon Technology, we are looking for a “Software Developer” for our Core Tourism & Destinations team!

WHAT YOU’LL DOWorking close with team lead and deliver assigned jobs with respect to project deadlines,Working close with business analyst team and deliver development in a given period of deadline,Design, develop, and maintain software applications,Participating and supporting all software development related activities (e.g. reviews, unit tests, and process improvements),Analyzing and identifying problems within the software and designing improvements by considering solution alternatives such as repair, replace and refactor.

WHO YOU AREBachelor degree in Computer/Electronics/Mathematics Engineering or related fields,Good written & verbal communication skills both in Turkish and English,At least 5 years of experience in .Net technologies,Hands on experience with C#, Windows Forms, ASP.NET MVC and Web API, .Net Core, MS SQL,Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, and software development principles,ORM Technologies, e.g. Entity Framework,Experience in RDBMS (i.e. PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL),Have experience in one of source control systems ( TFS , Bitbucket ),Experience in real world web/enterprise applications and web service integrations,Background in developing high performance distributed systems,Proven experience in Agile and Scrum Models,Good at solving complex business scenarios,Self-motivated and result oriented personal skills,Strong self-organization including ability to work independently and manage time effectively,Eager to learn new technologies, tools, and Tourism domain know-how,Inspire the team with new ideas and visions and actively promote platform development,Comfortable interpreting and understanding initially unfamiliar concepts.

NICE TO HAVEExperience in development SOAP and REST services according to best practices,Experience in writing high-performance, multi-threaded applications in C#,Experience writing unit tests and unit-testable code,HTML5/CSS3,JavaScript knowledge, preferably on jQuery, AngularJS, React,Application design and architecture experience in large implementation projects,Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservice Architecture,NoSQL (i.e. Couchbase, MongoDB),Understanding of Agile methodologies,Git knowledge,Experience in Docker,Experience working with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar),DevOps tasks (CI/CD pipeline),Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket).
