Role DescriptionWe are looking for a contract Freelance Shopify Developer to join our remote team. The Freelance Shopify Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and customizing Shopify-based applications, plugins, and features. The ideal candidate should have experience in Shopify development, knowledge of Shopify Plus, and familiarity with third-party app integrations that enhance the functionality of the Shopify platform.

QualificationsStrong professional experience in Shopify development, including Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptHands-on experience with Shopify Plus, including advanced Shopify app integration and customizationExperience with Shopify's suite of APIs, including REST and GraphQL, and with third-party APIs and integrating these into ShopifyExpertise in frontend development frameworks such as React and VueJS is desirableExperience in designing and implementing custom Shopify themes and in developing custom Shopify plugins, widgets, and payment gatewaysA solid understanding of web design principles and optimization techniques, including SEO and performance optimizationStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills and ability to solve problems independentlyExcellent communication and teamwork skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
