Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Tableau Developer. The Tableau Developer will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining data analysis and visualization solutions using Tableau. The Tableau Developer will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and project managers to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable, data-driven insights.
QualificationsAs a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible to create reports and dashboards with good visualization to improve business processes. This role will include tasks such as generating Tableau dashboard with tabular reports, creating business intelligence reports and creative visualizations, working with business and data/solution architects. Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, unit testing, and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use. Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect. Work through scrum release cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations. Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding standards. Resolve support tickets related to Tableau. Must be able to setup users and their access Data Governance experience Requirements Proven experience in developing and working Tableau driven dashboards, analytics. Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of the workbook. Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications. Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture. Advanced Tableau development skills required. Ability to convert High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.) into Tableau reports Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions. A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization Strong communication and collaborative skills. Attention to detail and accuracy Must perform Unit Test, QA checks and validating the KPIs before moving to higher environment Ability to multitask effectively. Prior experience with Snowflake will be a plus
