Through our academic journal, Public Health Sciences (PHS), we provide networking and publication opportunities to early-career scientists and researchers creating waves in healthcare research, particularly from underrepresented countries. We also develop websites and provide business consultancy services to client companies across the world.

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Web Developer with minimum 2 years' expertise in WordPress, Shopify, and OJS for a contract role in a remote environment. The position entails developing and maintaining all websites owned by the company, developing web applications and products for our platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build web solutions, programming and testing new features, understanding business requirements, and providing database design and integration services.

What You Bring to the Table

Minimum 2 years of experience in web development and design. Proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, and Open Journal Systems (OJS) is a hard requirement.Familiarity with web server configuration and managementGood communication skills in English (required), Dutch and/or Malayalam is a plusAbility to deliver results in short timelines, think creatively, strategically, and collaboratively to build highly engaging user experiences and solve complex web development problemsExcellent problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills in a team-based environmentBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related fieldAvailability during work hours from 9.00-17.00 on weekdays in Central European Time (UTC +1) Required
