Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, design and maintenance, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from our clients.Writing reusable, testable, and efficient codeProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git and GithubDesign and implementation of low-latency, highly-available, and performance applicationsStrong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js and ReactKnowledge of Node.js frameworks such as ExpressKnowledge and experience using WebpackBe able to use/develop GraphQL APIUnderstanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workaroundsGood understanding of server-side template languagesCreate back-end code and interfaces for new web platformsUser authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environmentsUnderstanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationsImplementation of security and data protectionIntegration of data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis databasesCreating database schema that represent and support business processesImplementing automated testing platforms and unit testsResponsive website designGood understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors such as SASSUnderstanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platformAnalyze user needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacityUnderstanding accessibility and security compliance
