MERN Stack Developer

Role Description:

Zion Web Services is seeking a talented and experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in building scalable and responsive web applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing web applications from scratch, managing databases, and integrating APIs to enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop scalable and responsive web applications using the MERN stack.Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure seamless communication between backend and frontend components.Maintain and upgrade existing applications, addressing technical issues and optimizing performance.Design and implement advanced features, focusing on three key areas: Advanced Search Engine using Redis for caching. Seamless Appointment Scheduling system for enhanced workflow. Dynamic Prescription Forms with Autocomplete for accurate data input.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in MERN Stack development, with the ability to create complex designs.- Proficiency in server-side development using Node.js and Express.js.- Strong coding skills using MongoDB, Mongoose, and RESTful APIs.- Familiarity with caching technologies, specifically Redis.- Experience with containerization using Docker.- Ability to create unit and integration tests for developed features.- Experience in developing mobile-friendly and responsive design websites.

Project Focus:

We are currently working on a mid-scale clinic management app and a directory web application for doctors. Your expertise will significantly contribute to:a. Advanced Search Engine: Implement a robust search feature for our directory website using Redis for caching.b. Seamless Appointment Scheduling: Develop a user-friendly scheduling system to optimize workflow.c. Dynamic Prescription Forms with Autocomplete: Build complex, multi-table forms for prescription entry, incorporating interactive autocomplete functionality.
